I was born and raised in Duisburg before we moved to the Münsterland when I was ten. Today, at 28, I live with my wife in a cozy apartment right by the canal in Münster. This is also where I successfully completed my master’s degree in teaching, but even during my studies, I realized that my true passion lay elsewhere – in videography.
This passion has been with me since childhood. At the age of seven, I bought my first video camera with money I had saved from my allowance. Together with my twin brother and friends, I spent countless afternoons shooting short films and proudly sharing the results on YouTube – even if those videos would probably make us smile today.
During my studies, I rediscovered filmmaking for myself. I started with video projects at my university, but I wanted more. One night, the idea came to me: why not become a wedding videographer? From that moment on, I poured all my energy into this vision. I immersed myself deeply in the wedding industry, built the necessary skills, and eventually filmed my first weddings. The positive feedback from couples, and the joy and emotions I was able to capture through my work, convinced me completely – this is where I found my place.
For me, it’s more than just a job: it’s a passion for capturing special moments and telling stories that stay with you for a lifetime.

I was born in Münster in 1996, grew up in the Münsterland region, and have been living back in Münster for several years now. Alongside my passion for videography, I’m interested in almost every sport you can imagine – whether it’s football, American football, or darts, I can get excited about just about any sport.
In my childhood, I had only a few points of contact with videography. I mainly experienced it through Nico, who was already making short films back then. We spent a lot of time together, but videography was more something Nico pursued with passion rather than something that initially defined my own path.
After finishing high school, I initially decided to train as an office management assistant and have since been working in the public sector. It was a very different path that I chose at first.
But then everything changed. At some point, Nico excitedly told me about the first weddings he had accompanied as a videographer. I was genuinely surprised that wedding videographers even existed — it had never really crossed my mind before. When he then asked if I’d like to join him at a wedding one day, I didn’t have to think twice. I really wanted to experience it for myself.
After the first two weddings, it was clear to me: this is what I want to do. Capturing these special moments, documenting the couples’ emotions and stories, and preserving them forever is an incredible feeling. And when you watch the finished film and feel the passion within the images, you just know it’s the perfect path for me.
I can only agree with Nico. It’s more than just a job – it has become my passion to preserve moments and move people with my videos.
